<a href="https://amityctchamber.com/event/amity-chamber-business-symposium-and-expo-to-be-held-july-22nd/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The program will begin with the business symposium.</a> The primary focus of this year’s symposium reflects the current, evolving international landscape, which has presented economic challenges, financial implications, as well as opportunities for businesses of all sizes and scopes. The heightened importance of how businesses position and communicate their brand to engage, create customer value, and increase ROI will also be presented.&nbsp;Attendees are strongly encouraged to be seated by 3:15 pm for what will be a prompt start and an extremely impactful symposium experience.
The Expo portion commences at 5:30 p.m. and will include over 20 businesses and organizations that span transportation, public utilities, food and beverage (free samples!), home improvement, real estate, finance, and more. 
The Expo has been purposely designed for networking with colleagues and friends, one-on-one discussions, or bringing the family to explore leading businesses throughout the Amity region.
An eclectic expo floor offers an exceptional mix of well-established and leading corporations, as well as iconic and rising-star brands. From PEZ Candy, Jimmy John’s, Barrio Burrito Bar, and Duck Donuts, to Tweed-New Haven (HVN), Coldwell Banker Realty, Regional Water Authority, and many more, an abundance of meaningful business knowledge, fun, and collaboration is FREE and will not disappoint!

Whether you're a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the first time, this relaxed, welcoming event is the perfect way to unwind and express yourself. This event is open to all! We're excited to now host this event at a new location, Branford's newest hotspot, Radici at the Stand!

I’m reaching out from SOUND &amp; Stage Theater Company here in the Woodbridge/New Haven area with a story we believe would be a wonderful fit for Patch readers — one that highlights local creativity, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.
SOUND &amp; Stage is a women-founded and women-led nonprofit producing original musicals with live bands and fully original scores. Our work centers on themes that matter deeply to our community, and our newest production, Old Oak Ridge, is no exception.
Old Oak Ridge is an original musical about conservation, heritage, and the responsibility we all share in protecting the natural world around us. The show features a cast of local artists, a live five-piece band, and a completely original score — all created right here in our community.
We would be honored if Bethwood Patch would consider featuring SOUND &amp; Stage and Old Oak Ridge in an article. Your readership includes exactly the families and neighbors we hope to reach with this production, and we believe the combination of women-led creative leadership, original music, and a conservation-driven narrative offers a fresh and meaningful angle.
If you’re interested, we would love to invite a reporter or photographer to visit a rehearsal at B’nai Jacob Auditorium in Woodbridge. We rehearse Monday through Thursday this week and next, and you’d be able to see the cast, band, and creative team bringing this new musical to life.
Our performances are August 8 and 9, and we’d be thrilled to share more about the show, our mission, and the young artists involved.
