Case Continued For Shelton Mom Accused of Leaving Child in Hot Car in Orange
The Shelton resident was shopping at a Trader Joe's while her 3-year-old sat in the car.

The criminal case against Nathalie Stonier, of Shelton, who is accused of leaving her 3-year-old inside a hot parked car last month, while she shopped at Trader Joe’s in Orange had her case continued Tuesday until September 10, NBC Connecticut reports.
The child has been placed with its father, and Stonier, 36, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and leaving a child under the age of 12 unsupervised in a motor vehicle.
At the time, Orange police said Stonier left her 3-year-old inside a parked car at 11 a.m. while she went inside to shop at the Trader Joe’s store at 550 Boston Post Road, WFSB 3 television reports.

Someone saw Stonier leave the child unattended and called police. The child was not injured, WFSB 3 reports.
