Community Rallies Around Seymour Ambulance Captain
A Seymour Ambulance Captain underwent surgery due to a brain tumor.

SEYMOUR, CT — Seymour Ambulance Capt. PJ Bridge is recovering after undergoing a craniotomy following a seizure, according to The Connecticut Post. He returned home last week following the surgery and a week in the hospital, though his recovery has been difficult.
The community is supporting his recovery and payment of unexpected medical bills through a GoFundMe page. Created by Steven Michael and Jacqueline Bridge, it reads: "Our beloved friend PJ is in need of our help! Unfortunately PJ had an unexpected seizure and once at the hospital it was discovered he had some type of tumor present in the brain. He is currently recovering after having a significant brain surgery to remove the tumor. While he is recovering and trying to remain in good spirits, there is always the burden of the unexpected medical bills and the support of PJ and his family during these trying times. We are raising money for him and his family to support a speedy recovery and give them some relief so they can focus on what's important.
"PJ is the Captain of Seymour Ambulance and an EMT/FTO at AMR - Bridgeport and has been an upstanding pillar in the community for years. Feel free to share this campaign far and wide to show support from everyone, everywhere."
