3 Course Calabrian Wine Dinner
It's too hot to be in a kitchen this muggy summer.
The Winchester is offering a Three course Calabrian wine dinner special. Starts 6:30pm This Monday, August 13, 2012 until we run out.
What? Calabrian! What? The location where the little tootsies on the "boot" of Italy reside!
1st plate - Strawberry gazpacho with a little pink wine call Igreco Savu Gaglioppo Rosato. This chilled savory dish & dry italian will get yer palette in gear for ...
...your 2nd plate - fried green tomatoes just like you love 'em with a chilled glass of Igreco Filu Bianco Greco. You will find the racy acidity of this cool wine will cut right through those firm & crispy tomatoes!
You made it to 3rd plate! The succulent duck breast & snow-pea risotto with a peach chutney will just pull the fruit right out of the Igreco Cata Gaglioppo Rosso and roll around your mouth a bit. A rich and earthy wine pairs well with our daffy waterfowl.
This Monday! August 13th, 6:30pm 'till we run out. $50.00 per person plus tax & gratuity. Wine expert Rob Le Du from Vinifera Imports will be around that evening to fix y'all up with any special wine orders you'll have after dinner.
