Bethany Kindergarten Orientation Meeting

It’s hard to believe that in approximately 5 months your child may be entering Kindergarten at Bethany Community School.  This is a very exciting time for all of us.  As a means of acquainting you with the school, our Kindergarten program, and the many professionals who will be working with your child, we will be sponsoring a Parent Information Evening on April 27, 2011, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Bethany Community School.

 At this meeting, you will have an opportunity to receive important registration material, as well as hear from staff members who will be working with your child.  The second portion of the evening will involve parents/guardians visiting with various Kindergarten teachers in the classrooms to learn firsthand about our Kindergarten program.  Also, as part of the program, you will have an opportunity to sign your child up for an appointment for our registration days, which will be held on May 23^rd and 24^th during school hours.  During the registration days, your child will meet with the teachers while you have an opportunity to submit registration forms and discuss any medical concerns you may have with our school nurse. 

 The Parent Information Evening will be a very important and informative evening and we hope that you will be able to attend.  If you are unable to attend, you may call the school and an information packet will be mailed to you along with a Registration Day appointment for your child.

 If you know of anyone who is planning on sending their child to Kindergarten in the fall but did not receive this letter, please have them contact the school.

 We look forward to seeing you on April 27 at 7:00 p.m. for the first of several programs that will help in the transition for your child as he/she prepares to be part of the Bethany Community School.
