Evicted Tenant Reportedly Stole Fireplace
A Bethany resident reported the incident to Connecticut State Police.
Connecticut State Police are investigating an allegation that a $1,500 fireplace was stolen from a Bethany residence.
According to the report, which was filed at 11:35 a.m. on July 8, the owner of the Beacon Road home said the fireplace was taken by a tenant who was evicted. The fireplace was valued at $1,500.
