The Habitat ReStore--A Great Place to Volunteer!

A great opportunity for students, retirees, folks between jobs and those needing to do community service hours

Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven has flexible volunteer opportunities at our ReStore, 286 South Colony Road, Wallingford. The ReStore sells gently used furniture, large and small appliances, kitchen cabinets, sinks, tools, lighting and more. Proceeds support Habitat’s home building program in New Haven. Volunteers work in every aspect of the ReStore, including customer service, sorting donated goods and organizing furniture displays. This is a great opportunity if you are retired, between jobs or need to do community service hours.

ReStore hours are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 10am-6pm; Friday & Saturday, 10am-4pm. Half day and student-friendly shifts are available. For more information about ReStore volunteering, please contact Ellen McNally, Habitat Volunteer Coordinator, at (203) 785-0794 or emcnally@habitatgnh.org. You can also register and sign up online at http://habitatgnh.org/volunteer/volunteer-up/.
