JCC of Greater New Haven Calls in Experts for Woodbridge Pool Proposal
The group is seeking to expand the hours at its facility on Amity Road.

WOODBRIDGE, CT - In its ongoing fight to expand its pool hours, the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven reportedly has enlisted the help of a prominent land use attorney and sound mitigation experts.
The New Haven Register writes that Milford-based attorney Thomas Lynch is spearheading the effort to gain town approval to expand pool hours at the Woodbridge center on Amity Road, but neighbors of the JCC property remain opposed to the plan.
Residents believe an expansion of the hours will disrupt the neighborhood, but the JCC is exploring the possibility of adding berms and panels, among other items, to help lower noise levels.
