State Representative Lezlye Zupkus is the clear choice for the 89th District (Bethany/Cheshire/Prospect). While her opponent is spending her time running around looking for endorsements, Lezlye is working hard to continue a legacy of truly representing the citizens of rural New Haven County and Connecticut as a whole. Her community involvement is unparalleled all the while working in the State Capitol in Hartford representing all we hold dear. Whether or not you are a Conservative or a Republican, we all are feeling the effects of the current leadership in Hartford. While many legislative items have passed recently that strip our rights, raise our taxes and invite businesses to leave our great state, Lezlye has stood strong and made her commitment to Connecticut residents clear. She has delivered a long-standing and unwavering conservative voting record during her tenure in office. What she does not do is allow the change in wind direction to sway her message or alliances. She is truly a woman of her word and holds fast to her values. That is a very rare quality in politics today. Lezlye Zupkus truly represents the values I hold dear. That translates to the values set forth by our Founding Fathers that are clearly defined in the United States Constitution. I think that maybe she takes the term “Constitution State” seriously!?
