OLOA Social Action Committee Easter Food Baskets
The Social Action Committee (SAC) at Our Lady of the Assumption Church will provide food baskets for needy families in our communities

Woodbridge, CT - The Social Action Committee (SAC) at Our Lady of the Assumption Church will provide food baskets for needy families in our communities and the Greater New Haven area on Sunday, April 5th after the 9:30 Mass. The goal this year is to provide 175+ baskets. Parishioners are encouraged to donate non-perishable food such as pasta, fruit, jelly/jam, peanut butter, cereal, beans , rice, mac & cheese, soup, spaghetti sauce, tuna fish and vegetables.
Food bags will be passed out after Masses THIS WEEKEND and are due back no later than Sunday 3/29.
Checks payable to the Social Action Committee are also appreciated and will be used to help purchase canned hams and additional food items needed. If anyone would like to suggest a needy family to receive a basket, please call John Reilly 203 387 1051. All names will be kept confidential.

Please mark your calendars as volunteers will be needed on April 2nd at 6:00 pm to help count and
sort food items in the church hall and again on April 5th after the 9:30 mass to help assemble and
