Amity Grad Joins Brookfield Police Force

Jason Livingston was chosen as one of the top candidates from a field of more than 250 individuals who tested for the position.

The Brookfield Police Department and Chief Robin Montgomery announced the appointment of Jason P. Livingston as the newest officer in the Brookfield Police Department.

Assistant Town Clerk Mary Ellen Badaracco administered the Oath at a brief ceremony in Brookfield Town Hall on Wednesday evening during the Brookfield Police Commission Meeting.

Livingston was chosen as one of the top candidates from a field of more than 250 individuals who tested for the position. His appointment brings the department to full staff, filling a position that will be created with the retirement of 36-year veteran, Officer Kevin Seeley, who will retire later this month as a full-time officer but will remain with the department as a Special Officer.
