Easter Food Baskets and “Come to the Table”

The Social Action Committee would like to thank everyone for their support of the Easter Food basket program which provided 175 food baskets and 150 canned hams this year to five groups; BHealth Care, Troup
school, Our Lady of Guadalupe parish, Amistad School and Clinton Avenue School.

In addition, over 40 families in the area received a generous supply of food and gift cards which were donated by individual parishioners.

As you might expect, the food pantry is low on supplies and is always in need of new inventory. Financial contributions and donations of nonperishable food are always welcome. Items include canned fruit, jelly/
jam, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, canned potatoes, beans, cereal, macaroni and cheese, soup, tuna fish and toiletries. Please leave your donations in the rear of either church.
