Thank you messages from Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge

My Dear Friends,

Our Christmas celebrations were marked by the help of a number of parishioners. I thank the following: our local Knights of Columbus for the set-up of our outdoor mangers and cleaning of the Center Road church; those who decorated our parish Center Road Christmas tree; DeSarbo Florists who adorned our two sanctuaries with Christmas flowers; Adult and children Lectors; ushers; Special Ministers of the Eucharistic; altar servers; Deacons Mordecai and DiRienzo; and Dr. Keith Smolinski and our choirs, along with instrumentalists.

The Christmas Liturgies were celebrated with reverence and were filled with joy that manifested our faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior. May our Lady of the Assumption parish grow from strength to strength. The priests thank all who sent Christmas cards, gifts and Christmas baked goods. May
2019 bring all our parishioners abundant blessings and peace.

SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE THANK YOU

• We would like to extend our sincere thank gratitude to all of our parishioners who contributed gifts to the Social Action Angel Tree Program. We were able to provide over 400 gifts to families, children and teachers in the surrounding area and within our parish.
• A great big thank you to the members of the Social Action Committee who helped in this endeavor! Thank you also to the volunteers who came to help with sorting and packing. We would also like to thank the Knights of Columbus for their generous donation of coats for some of the recipient children.
• We couldn’t do it without you! We wish you all a blessed, happy and peaceful New Year!!!
