Our Lady of the Assumption Releases Good Friday Videos
Dr, Keith Smolinski, Director of Music at OLOA in Woodbridge, has prepared two videos to continue the Good Friday tradition.
Woodbridge, CT - It has been a tradition at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church to venerate the cross each year with the music from the adult choir.
This year, Dr. Keith and Elizabeth Smolinski have recorded a collection of songs to help you venerate the cross from home. They hope that this enhances your Good Friday.
Cantors Susan Taddei, Elizabeth Smolinski and the Director of Music Dr. Smolinski recorded a Zoom Passion that is available on the church website under videos. Dr. and Mrs. Smolinski also recorded a set of veneration songs for the church. Both of the videos are posted up on the Assumption Webpage under videos, as well as on the church's Facebook page. The April 12 bulletin is also available on the church website.

The Music Director posted: To my friends and fellow parishioners. I have posted two of our important traditions onto the video page https://www.facebook.com/assumptionwoodbridge/. We have recorded the chanted passion via zoom along with twenty minutes of veneration songs. Please share with all who appreciate this.
"We worked really hard and had to do much editing to make this happen," wrote Dr. Smolinski in a message to choir members.
