Police: Employee Stole $400 From Cash Register

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stealing $400 from the cash register of a Woodbride business.

The woman, who police identified as Heather C. Anderson of Waterbury, was an employee of the business, according to the report from the Woodbridge Police Department.

Anderson was arrested by warrant at 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 17 and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

She was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 27.
