Town of Woodbridge Partners with International Festival of Arts & Ideas

The Town of Woodbridge and the International Festival of Arts & Ideas are inviting Woodbridge residents to a reception after the performance of Air Play on Wednesday June 22 at the University Theater (222 York Street, New Haven) at 7 PM.

“This is the first time the Town of Woodbridge is partnering with the International Festival of Arts & Ideas. Several Arts & Ideas board members are Woodbridge residents and, similar to our successful partnership with Long Wharf Theatre, we are hoping that this relationship will provide meaningful cultural and community-building opportunities for our residents,” said First Selectman Ellen Scalettar.

Woodbridge residents who attend Air Play on Wednesday June 22 are encouraged to use the discount code “green” to receive $5 off tickets. Air Play is a family friendly show about the affection and the rivalry between a sister and brother on a life-changing and surreal journey. It is a comic adventure including flying umbrellas, larger-than-life balloons, kites that float over the audience and the biggest snow globe you’ve ever seen.

Following the performance, Woodbridge residents are invited to a special reception with the artists behind Air Play and with other Festival supporters. For more information on Air Play and the festival, visit artidea.org.
