What School Supplies Do Your Kids Need?

It's unavoidable: back to school season is here. And that means you're out looking for the best deals on school supplies.

From pencils and notebooks, crayons and scissors for the younger set on to highlighters and Spanish/English pocket translator books for sixth graders, if you're not organized it can be overwhelming. To help, the Bethany School District has put together a list on its website, and we've published it here for you.

Kindergarten

• 1 small Spacemaker pencil box
• 1 pack of 16 count Crayola crayons
• 2 two pocket folders
• 8 white glue sticks
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 white three ring binder
• 2 large pink Erasers
• 4 pencils

First Grade

• 1 Spacemaker pencil box (8.5x5.5x2.5)
• 12 #2 pencils
• 1 pack 24 count crayons (no Twistables, markers, or colored pencils please!)
• 2 pink bevel erasers
• 1 pair blunt scissors (child-sized)
• 1 black marbled composition notebooks
• 8 glue sticks (white only)
• 4 two-pocket folders (horizontal pockets please), one of each color: BLUE, YELLOW,   GREEN, and a folder of your choice.  (the colors are for organizational purposes)
• 3 packages of sticky notes: (Dimensions: 2 7/8 x 2 7/8)
• 2 highlighters
• 1 3 Ring Binder 1 inch size

 Second Grade

• Pencil Box (standard)
• 24 Sharpened Pencils
• 12 colored pencils 
• 1 box of thin magic markers              
• 24 ct Crayons

• 3 black and white composition notebooks
• 4 pkgs Post-it notes (2x2 or larger)

 Fourth Grade
