Woman Broke Into Home 2X, Caused A Lot Of Damage: Woodbridge PD
Police say the accused fought with the homeowner and fled the area but was later arrested by officers.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Woodbridge police were able to arrest a woman who is accused of breaking into a home twice and causing significant damange, police said. At 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, the Woodbridge Police Department responded to a home on Mettler Street for the report of a burglary in progress, police said.
The victims contact the Woodbridge Police Department advising that an unknown person was in their home, police said. Upon arrival Officers apprehended Jasmine Bookert, 24, of Mettler Street, police said. The investigation revealed that Bookert entered a neighbor’s home twice on this date causing significant damage, police said. After an altercation ensued between the victims and Bookert she fled to her residence where she was located by the responding Officers, police said.
Bookert was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Risk Of Injury To A Minor, Assault 3rd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree On An Elderly Person, and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Bookert is being held on a $100,000.00 bond and will be transported to New Haven Superior Court on January 10, 2018 for arraignment.
