Woodbridge Makes Decision About Paying Property Taxes Early
The questions concerning paying taxes early stems from the new federal tax law that caps state and local tax deductions at $10,000.

WOODBRIDGE, CT - Due to the recent changes in federal tax law some residents have asked, “Can I prepay my Woodbridge property taxes before January 1, 2018?” The answer is no.
Connecticut State law does not grant municipalities the power to collect taxes before a mill rate is set. Therefore you cannot prepay your 2018-2019 taxes now.

The Town has just begun its annual budget process which will conclude in May 2018 when the budget is adopted and a mill rate is set.
Residents will then receive tax bills which are due in July.
