Woodbridge Man Charged With Worker's Comp Fraud: DCJ
He collected benefits while working at another company, officials said.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A Woodbridge man was charged with illegally collecting $30,000 in worker's compensation benefits while working for another company, according to the state Division of Criminal Justice.
Michael Steinfeld, 46, was arrested Thursday. He collected temporary disability benefits after he reported a work-related injury on Oct. 1, 2012 while employed by a Seymour paving contractor, according to the DCJ. Steinfield then found work at another company and was paid $125,000 in wages while collecting the benefits.
He was charged with fraudulent claim or receipt of benefits.
