Woodbridge Police Investigate Bank Robbery

The Woodbridge Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred this morning at the First Niagara Bank.

The Woodbridge Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred this morning at the First Niagara Bank located at 211 Amity Road, Woodbridge, CT.

Preliminary investigation reveals that at approximately 11:53 a.m. a lone male subject entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. After the teller complied with his demand, the suspect fled on foot and was last seen running east on Mettler Street.

The suspect, shown in the attached surveillance photographs, is described as a stocky white male, in his mid-thirties, with a scruffy beard and goatee, wearing a dark colored long-sleeve tee shirt, dark pants, a white baseball cap with a Nautica brand emblem on the front, and dark sunglasses with a white frame.
