Woodbridge Tunnel Project Postponed Due To Budget Crisis
Governor Malloy says state legislature needs to take action to fund projects or hundreds of road improvements won't get done.

The scheduled Route 15 West Rock Ridge tunnel improvement project has been suspended. Governor Dannel P. Malloy made that announcement stating the state legislature needs to appropriate funds for the Special Transportation Fund to get the projects done.
"If Connecticut does not take the necessary action to allow to restart these vital projects, not only will it put the state's infrastructure into a further state of disrepair, it will hurt our economy," Malloy said. "The legislature must act this year to avoid potentially devastating setbacks to our transportation system."
