Woodbridge Woman Sold Drugs Behind Chip's: Orange Police

Police said the restaurant was closed when the drug transaction was occurring in the back of the building.

ORANGE, CT — A Woodbridge woman is accused of selling drugs behind Chip's Restaurant at 321 Boston Post Road, police said. On April 28, police saw a vehicle pull behind Chip's after it was closed for the evening, police said.

The vehicle was apparently meeting another vehicle that was already waiting in that location, police said. When police approached the vehicles to see why they were there, they saw drugs and drug paraphernalia inside one of the vehicles, police said.

Police found marijuana, cocaine, grinders, smoking pipes, digital scales, wrapping papers, and plastic bags, police said. Julia Ahn, 22, of Woodbridge admitted most of the items were hers and she was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Ahn was released after posting $5,000 bond.
