Students from Amity Middle School- Bethany campus created portraits as part of the “Memory Project” coordinated and guided by the school’s art teacher, Ms. Sara Frank.
This service learning project enhances learning though portraiture and provided students at Amity with a connection to kids in orphanages in many countries.
The “Memory Project” began in 2004 and has worked with thousands of children in this country interacting through art with thousands of underprivileged children in 34 countries. Close to 50,000 portraits have been completed.

Funding for this project came from Woodbridge Youth Services working in conjunction with the Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation.
