Branford Town Clerk Charged With DUI: Police

BRANFORD, CT — Lisa E. Arpin, 61, of Toole Drive, was charged Friday night with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a Branford Police report. She was also charged with failing to drive right, the log shows.

Arpin, a Republican, is Branford's longtime Town Clerk. First elected to the role in 2013, she ran unopposed in 2019.

Arpin has promoted a number of community programs as clerk including an annual poster contest for dog licensing and food drives for Feed Branford Kids.
