Obituary: Peter Frederick Lupoli, 74, of Branford

Peter Frederick Lupoli, 74, passed away May 12, 2023, peacefully at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Susan Meyer Lupoli for 52 years, son of the late Frederick and Teresa Biondi Lupoli, and brother of Carolyn Lupoli Romano (spouse of James Romano). Peter leaves behind his daughters Alison Lupoli and Stephanie Lupoli-Bonilla (spouse Nate Bonilla). His grandchildren were his reason to smile and cheer. They are Christian Peter Lupoli, his wife Emily and son Brayden Peter, Mikaila Teresa Lupoli, Nico Bonilla, Joseph (JJ) Lugo, and Sunny Bonilla, numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Peter was a graduate of East Haven High School and Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, class of 1970. He was an athlete through and through, playing both football and baseball at Boston College. Peter worked for more than 40 years for Allstate Insurance as the owner of Lupoli Insurance Agency of Branford, CT. Peter spent his winters with his wife in Bonita Springs, FL, for the last 20 years.

A private Celebration of Peter’s life will be held in his honor at a later date.
