Obituary: Viola Kopjanski Schmitz, 94, of Branford

Viola Kopjanski Schmitz of Branford died Friday February 3, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of the late Roy Schmitz.

Viola was born in Branford January 26, 1929, daughter of the late Harold and Josephine Richkowski Kopjanski. She was a lifelong resident of Branford and had worked as a secretary at Echlin Manufacturing in Branford until retiring. She is survived by nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her brothers, Harold and John Kopjanski.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may attend a graveside service at St. Agnes Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
