Pastor Chad Adamik Installed as Senior Pastor at Tabor Lutheran Church
Religious leaders from local congregations joined in the celebration, featuring special music and a sermon by the Rev. Maria Hammons

Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford is pleased to announce that on Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Rev. Chad Adamik was installed as Senior Pastor of Tabor Lutheran Church. Religious leaders from local congregations joined in the celebration, which featured special music and a sermon given by the Rev. Maria Hammons, Associate to the Bishop for Missional Discernment and Legacy.
“We are thrilled to have Pastor Chad join us as Senior Pastor at Tabor,” said Bertie Chuong, Tabor’s Council President. “He has served Tabor in an interim capacity for the past several years and has already done such wonderful work with our congregation and community. We can’t wait to see all that he brings to Tabor now as our official Senior Pastor.”
Pastor Adamik, originally from Somerset, Ohio, is a graduate of Capital University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary, both in Columbus, Ohio. He has served as interim pastor in the Indiana-Kentucky and Rocky Mountain Synods of the ELCA. Prior to moving to Branford in September 2022, he served for six years as pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Family in Carson City, Nevada. Pastor Adamik is married to the Rev. Father Thomas Blake, who serves as Priest in Charge at Trinity Episcopal Church, Branford.

“I’m looking forward to continuing the work we’ve begun at Tabor, since I started serving as their interim pastor,” said Rev. Adamik. “We’re looking out for what God is up to–in our world and in the Branford community.”
