Remodeled Walmart In Branford To Include New Features

BRANFORD, CT — The remodeled Walmart at 120 Commercial Pkwy will unveil a variety of new features, including a refreshed pharmacy, interactive electronics department and more following a grand reopening ribbon-cutting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.

“We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier,” said Store Manager Alexander Carlisle in a news release. “We’re excited for everyone to come see how we are helping give time back to our customers with a new and improved shopping experience.”

Customers will enjoy the following store improvements:

• State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays that allow customers to try laptops, tablets and other technology prior to purchase
• Enhanced baby department with easier access to everyday essentials like diapers and formula
• Refreshed pharmacy with private consultation room
• Larger assortment of industrial and power tools in hardware
• New layout in home and intimate apparel with additional assortment
• New lighting in cosmetics

Customers are invited to attend a grand reopening celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. There will be activities for kids, hot dogs and customer giveaways.
