2 Injured In Shooting Near Bridgeport's Brick And Barrel: Police
Bridgeport police were called to the bar and restaurant shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a statement.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two people were injured when shots were fired near a Bridgeport bar early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Police responded to the intersection of Broad and Bank streets shortly before 2:30 a.m. for a report of gunshots, according to a statement from city emergency management director Scott Appleby. When police arrived, they discovered two men had been shot during a fight in front of Brick and Barrel bar and restaurant.
According to Appleby, a 28-year-old Bridgeport man was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the abdomen. A 56-year-old Bridgeport man was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his left leg.

Both victims were shot at the same location, they later told police.
Police said the shooting was an "isolated incident" that resulted from a fight in front of the bar.
