Bridgeport Pair Arrested In 2025 Hit-And-Run That Killed Pedestrian: Police (patch.com) — Bridgeport residents are facing serious charges after police linked them to a 2025 hit-and-run that fatally injured pedestrian Zandrea Harris near Noble Avenue. Investigators say a white sedan struck Harris, continued down the street with her, and left her behind before fleeing. One suspect has posted bond and is due in Bridgeport Superior Court, while the other remains held on bail.

Two injured after Bridgeport shooting ends in crash, police say (ctpost.com) — Bridgeport officials say two people were injured Friday after gunfire on Grandview Avenue led to a vehicle crash near Pembroke and Maple Streets, with one victim suffering a non-life-threatening leg wound. Police used the ShotSpotter system to detect more than 20 shots, detained those in the crashed vehicle, and are continuing to investigate possible charges.
