2 Shot Near Train Station In Bridgeport: Police
A male was arrested and a vehicle was impounded Sunday in connection with the shooting, authorities said.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two people were shot overnight near the train station in downtown Bridgeport, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel received multiple calls about a shooting in the area and police determined two people were struck at Bank and Main streets and that the victims ran to the station to call 911 before going to Bridgeport Hospital, authorities said.
One person was hit in the chest and the other was struck in the leg, according to police, who said that the person who was shot in the leg was uncooperative, and that neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
