$25,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A unnamed Shelton resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, the prizewinner claimed a winning Strike It Rich! ticket that was bought at Krauszers at 2579 Fairfield Ave.

The game, which costs $25 per ticket, began in December 2022, and as of Thursday, one grand prizes of $1 million remained unclaimed; two second-place prizes of $100,000 were unclaimed; two third-place prizes of $50,000 had not been claimed; and three fourth-place prizes of $25,000 were unclaimed.

More than 1.5 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.00.
