Residents, activists, and city leaders weigh in on whether The August's high rents, amenities, and limited deed-restricted units truly serve Bridgeport's working-class neighborhoods or accelerate gentrification and displacement concerns.
5. Bridgeport, FBI officers seize narcotics from stash house (wfsb.com) — Bridgeport police, working with FBI agents, seized large quantities of fentanyl pills, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana from a suspected stash house on Ohio Avenue, preventing those drugs from reaching local streets. Additional warrants at a neighborhood market and two Shelton locations turned up no evidence, and officials say federal charges and arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
