Another Suspect Arrested In Triple Shooting In Bridgeport: Police
This arrest marks the sixth in connection with the Aug. 22 incident.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A sixth suspect has been arrested by Bridgeport police in connection with a triple shooting on Park Avenue in Bridgeport in August, according to authorities.
Ansonia resident Rhameir Marqui Bush, 28, was taken into custody Thursday morning in Bristol for his involvement in the Aug. 22 triple shooting. He is charged with:
- Assault in the First Degree
- Criminal Possession of a Firearm
- Illegal Discharge of a Firearm
He is being held in lieu of bail of $750,000.

In September, five people were arrested in connection with the shooting, as part of the city's "Take Back Park Ave" enforcement operation.
Additionally, Bush was served with three other warrants:

- Failure to appear in the 1st Degree. Bond is set at $1 million.
- Possession of Narcotics. Bond is set at $75,000.
- Engaging Police in Pursuit; Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Evading Responsibility; Interfering with a Police Officer; and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree. Bond is set at $200,000.
"I would like to thank the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Task Force-Bridgeport, the CT State Police Violent Crime Task Force-Bridgeport, and the Bristol Police Department for their involvement in this important apprehension," said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. "It is my understanding that several local law enforcement agencies in the Bristol area also provided K-9 support. The professional combined effort between local, state, and federal law enforcement was exceptional. Thank you."
