Arrest Made In Killing Of 18-Year-Old Bridgeport Man: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 19-year-old Bridgeport man has been arrested in connection with the March 7 shooting death of 18-year-old Kejohn Johnson, also known as "Noodles," according to Bridgeport police.

Romaine Morgan was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and carrying a pistol without a permit. Details of the arrest were not disclosed.

Johnson was shot and killed in his home in the 300 block of Olive Street.

Morgan is being held in lieu of bail of $2 million, and he is scheduled to be arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court on Wednesday.

"Outstanding job by Bridgeport Police Homicide Detective Jeffrey Holtz along with the Detectives & Officers specializing in digital video retrieval," said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of Morgan's arrest.
