Body Found On Bleachers Behind Field In Bridgeport
The body of a male was found early Saturday morning, and an emergency official said the death appears "to be drug-related."
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The body of a male was found on bleachers behind a field in the 1000 block of Boston Avenue early Saturday morning, according to a Bridgeport emergency official.
Around 12:35 a.m., a citizen reported seeing a male hunched over on the bleachers. Police, fire and medics arrived, and the male was pronounced, according to Scott Appleby, director of emergency communications.
The dead person's identity has not yet been released.

The Bridgeport Police Department detective bureau is investigating the circumstances of the death, which Appleby said "seem to be drug-related."
