Bridgeport Lawyer Arrested After Chase

A Bridgeport lawyer is facing charges after he reportedly left Mayor Joe Ganim's reelection party and crashed into a utility pole.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A local attorney was arrested after he left Mayor Joe Ganim's reelection party and was involved in a brief chase with police, The Connecticut Post reported. Andrew Cayo, 52, was charged with reckless driving and interfering with police.

Police spotted Cayo's car traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street. Police lost the vehicle then a short while later received an emergency dispatch call that the vehicle had struck a utility pole on Woodside Avenue.
