Authorities said Blake again acted as the getaway driver during the Cumberland Farms robbery. His accomplices entered the store armed with firearms, threatened employees, forced victims to the ground and stole about $1,200 from cash registers and personal belongings from customers, including an iPhone.

According to prosecutors, Blake's associates also committed armed robberies at Omega Deli, 999 Maplewood Ave. in Bridgeport, on Dec. 15, 2022; Milford Convenience & Tobacco, 784 Boston Post Road in Milford, on Dec. 21, 2022; and Smoke Shop, 2175 Boston Ave. in Bridgeport, on Dec. 23, 2022.

Blake has been in custody since his arrest on Aug. 1, 2024. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 27, 2026, to interference with commerce by robbery, also known as Hobbs Act robbery, and carrying, using and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

The FBI investigated the case with assistance from the Bridgeport, Stratford and Milford police departments. Assistant U.S. Attorney Nathaniel J. Gentile prosecuted the case.
