Police Search For Bridgeport Man Wanted On Murder Charge

Glenn Pettway is suspected of killing Marisol Dumeng, 30. He reportedly was arrested on charges of threatening her in the past.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 28-year-old Bridgeport man is wanted by Bridgeport police in connection with the killing of Marisol Dumeng, 30, who the suspect reportedly was arrested on charges of threatening her in the past.

Glenn Pettway, whose last known address was Lee Avenue, is accused of killing Dumeng in her Knoll Place home at about 5 a.m. on Saturday. Dumeng appeared to have been shot to death.

"Glenn Pettway is believed to be operating a blue 2002 Ford Mustang bearing Connecticut Registration BB53311 (MISUSE REGISTRATION – SUSPECT KNOWN TO CHANGE MARKER PLATE)," wrote Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport's Office of Emergency Management. See a surveillance photo below. "Pettway is currently out on a 1-million-dollar bond for a 2018 murder in Bridgeport, CT."

In early 2019, Pettway was arrested in connection with the 2018 killing of Alfanso Anderson; Pettway is awaiting trial in connection with that case.

The Connecticut Post reported that Pettway was accused of threatening Dumeng on two separate occasions.

Pettway is described as Black, with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He also has tattoos on his arms, neck and face.

"The above should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS," Appleby wrote. "Immediately call 911 with any information."
