Bridgeport Resident Wins $25,000 With CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was also sold in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, Reynaldo G. claimed a winning Cashword 30 ticket he bought at Boston News & Deli on Boston Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in November 2022, and as of Monday, nine grand prizes of $25,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 11.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.49.
