Death In Bridgeport Investigated As Homicide After ME Ruling: Police
The 68-year-old victim from Bridgeport was discovered in his home in February.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The death of a 68-year-old Bridgeport man is being investigated as a homicide, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause and manner in which the man died.
Jeffrey Lindo was found unresponsive in his Charles Street home on Feb. 20, and was pronounced dead. Three days earlier, he had been assaulted in his home during a domestic dispute, according to Bridgeport police.
On Wednesday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner told police that Lindo's cause of death is Blunt Impact Injury to the Head, and the manner of death is Homicide.

"The Police Department’s deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Lindo," said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement.
Members of the department’s Homicide Squad have taken charge of the investigation, and have developed a suspect, whose identity has not been released.
