• Emergency Crews Rescue Injured Construction Worker Trapped In Excavator In Bridgeport (patch.com) — Emergency crews from Bridgeport and several neighboring cities spent more than two hours rescuing a construction worker trapped inside an excavator at an Atlantic Street job site. The worker, who suffered lower-extremity injuries when heavy equipment fell onto the cab, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital as specialized medical teams assisted on scene. Officials have not yet released the worker's condition or further details.
