Decision Made On Monday Classes At Bridgeport Public Schools
A major snow storm swept through Connecticut on Sunday.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut on Sunday, district officials announced.
"Due to inclement weather, all Bridgeport Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026," officials wrote on the district website. "This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please stay safe and warm."
Additionally, the Bridgeport Board of Education also canceled its meeting for Monday night, and will hold the meeting on Jan. 29.
