DUI Arrest Made In Bridgeport Crash That Sent 6 To The Hospital
The suspect is accused of injuring four children and six adults when she crash her vehicle into a small crowd on Central Avenue.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 31-year-old Bridgeport woman has been arrested on a drunken driving charge in connection with the Sunday night crash in Bridgeport that sent six people to the hospital.
Crystal DeJesus is accused of smashing her vehicle into a small crowd of people in the 1700 block of Central Avenue, just before 8 p.m.
All the victims who were struck in the crash — four children and two adults — were treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital. DeJesus also suffered minor injuries.

In addition to driving under the influence, DeJesus was also charged with the following:
- Operating Motor Vehicle without Minimum Insurance
- Reckless Driving
- Failure to Drive in Proper Lane
- Operating Motor Vehicle without a License
- 4 counts of Risk of Injury to a Child
- 7 counts of Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree
- Operating Unregistered Motor Vehicle
- Falsifying Vehicle Registration
Details of the scary crash were not immediately available, but News 12 Connecticut obtained surveillance video that showed the collision.

DeJesus is being held in lieu of bail of $50,000, and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2.
