"Based on the evidence, we believe Rodriguez went to his neighbor’s house, located at 65 Washington Terrace, and shot him through a first floor window," wrote Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. "Alicia allegedly exchanged words with Rodriguez moments before the shooting. In a statement to investigators, Rodriguez admitted to shooting Alicea; allegedly over a conflict Alicea had with his girlfriend earlier that day."
Rodriguez is being held in lieu of bail of $1 million, and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Friday.
