Former Bridgeport Teacher Makes Plea In Sex Assault Case

A teacher accused of sexually assaulting two special education students made her plea in court.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Former Central High School teacher Laura Ramos pleaded no contest to sexually assaulting two special education students.

Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin said he would sentence her to a maximum of five years in January, according to the Connecticut Post. Her lawyer has the right to argue for less time.

Ramos, a Milford resident was charged with sexually assaulting an 18-year-old student in December and April 2017 and another student in June 2017. She mainly had sex with the students in her car and on one occasion in the electrical closet of a Shelton restaurant.
