Identity Of Murdered Delivery Driver Released By Bridgeport Police
A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Flushing, New York, man, who was shot and killed in Bridgeport on Saturday night, has been identified by Bridgeport police.
Jiabin Lin, 36, was shot multiple times while delivering food on Boston Avenue, according to Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran.
"On the date and time Mr. Lin was murdered, he was working as a food delivery driver for Yummy Yummy Chinese Restaurant," which is also located on Boston Avenue, Gilleran said.

Lin has no known next of kin in the United States, and his family in China has been notified, Gilleran added.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the killing, and he has been charged with murder and related violations.

The teen, who was being held in lieu of bail of $3 million, is scheduled to be arraigned as an adult in Bridgeport Superior Court on Tuesday, at which time, his identity will be released, according to Gilleran.
"This remains an active investigation," Gilleran said.
