Liberation Programs Celebrates Selection as a Stop & Shop Community Bag Program
Beneficiary, Bridgeport, CT
– Liberation Programs has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop
& Shop Community Bag Program for the month of May 2023. Launched in May 2019, the Stop
& Shop Community Bag Program is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support
with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Liberation Programs was selected as the May beneficiary of the program by store leadership at
the Stop & Shop located at 2145 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport CT
. Liberation Programs will
receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this
location during May
, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag
attached to the bag. “We are thrilled to have been chosen by our local Stop & Shop to receive
contributions from the Community Bag Program this month. This support will allow us to
continue broadening our programs to provide treatment and prevention for substance misuse
and mental health disorders in our community” said Fiona Wilkes, Director of Development and
