LifeBridge Community Services is proud to announce that Tia Reid, Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services, has been selected and certified as an International CARF Surveyor, a distinction that reflects her expertise in behavioral health quality, compliance, accreditation, and systems improvement.

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is an internationally recognized accrediting body that promotes quality standards and continuous improvement across health and human service organizations. As a CARF Surveyor, Reid joins a select group of professionals responsible for evaluating organizations against rigorous standards designed to strengthen services, improve outcomes, and advance quality care.

CARF Surveyors serve in an independent capacity and are selected directly by CARF based on their professional qualifications and experience. Reid will perform survey activities separately from her role at LifeBridge Community Services and in accordance with CARF’s policies governing surveyor independence and objectivity.

Reid's appointment reflects her leadership, experience, and commitment to excellence in behavioral health. Through her work as a surveyor, she will collaborate with organizations worldwide, gaining exposure to emerging best practices and innovative approaches that can help strengthen services at LifeBridge and throughout the region.

"Throughout my career, I've been passionate about building systems that promote quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in behavioral health services," said Reid. "Serving as a CARF Surveyor is an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the field while continuing to learn from organizations committed to excellence."

"We are incredibly proud of Tia and this well-deserved recognition of her expertise," said Edith Boyle, President and CEO of LifeBridge Community Services." Her selection as a CARF Surveyor reflects the respect she has earned within the behavioral health field. While her role is separate from her responsibilities at LifeBridge, the professional knowledge and insights she gains through this experience will undoubtedly enrich the leadership and expertise she brings to our organization.”
